ManageSecure has been successfully integrated with OpenELIS, a laboratory information management
system (LIMS) that is being deployed widely in the US Public Health community. ManageSecure provides
the strong security perimeter around OpenELIS, and also has a strong and well integrated identity and
digital certificate management system that can be used to streamline the user enrollment and role
based access control management to OpenELIS.
OpenELIS has a complex user identity and privilege management business logic built-in. Using
ManageSecure as the security perimeter makes it even more secure and enables remote (Internet
based) users to access this application using strong (2-factor) authentication. Further, the identity
management workflows that are built into ManageSecure make the security management of OpenELIS
more streamlined.
